Information for Prospective Families

2026 Enrolment Information

For those families seeking enrolment in Foundation in 2026 we request that you familiarise yourself with the DET parent enrolment information. The Department of Education has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Jells Park Primary School.

You can find information and resources about the enrolment timeline at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep).

Our school tour bookings will be open to book from Monday 24th February 2025, with tours commencing 4th March 2025.

We look forward to welcoming you on a tour soon.

Note that enrolments are offered on the basis of proximity to the school and NOT on a first come/first serve basis.

Our school is using an online system for new enrolments to Victorian government schools called VicStudents.

VicStudents is available for students who are enrolling in a Victorian Government School for the first time. This includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2026.

VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security.

 To commence online enrolment:
Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application.

A Quick Reference Guide to using the online system is available below.

For families seeking enrolment in other year levels please contact the school using the contact form below.
